About the Brewery...
Bath Ales are an independent micro-brewery established in 1995. Their founders all come from a brewing background and have combined a complementary range of skills with a shared passion for real ale. Never a company to stand still, Bath Ales have grown steadily and their brewery is now complemented by a new bottling plant and brewery shop. Over a relatively short time – and in an increasingly saturated market – they have developed a reputation for producing distinctive, high quality ales that are full of character and flavour. Much of this is down to a careful selection of the finest floor-malted barley, the best English hops and the use of their own cultured yeast.
About the Beer...
Bath Ales brew Barnstormer using a mix of Maris Otter, Chocolate and Amber Malts together with Brambling Cross Hops. These fine ingredients, combined with the brewers' skill and diligence, have made this a truly rewarding and enjoyable beer. Fine filtered for quality, Barnstormer likes to be sorted and served cool. Rich in fruit with hints of chocolate, this full-bodied dark ale is a complex but deeply satisfying beer.
