Today run by the great, great grandchildren of the founders Holden's produces excellent examples of British brewing.
About the Beer...
Fuggles Hops and English Maris Otter Malts are skillfully blended for a great hop character and excellent fruit flavours throughout. Very smooth and balanced with an approachable taste that belies its strength. Compare and contrast with Hawkshead Lakeland Gold! Great for enjoying with either beef, lamb, or mildly spiced Asian cuisine.
